All in the Family: Part 2

I had the opportunity to photograph another family before heading home for the holidays. A professor in the lab I work recently had a beautiful baby girl, and I offered to take photos as a way to practice my portrait skills. Not only was Mom, Dad and newborn there, but also their sweet, animated 2 year old joined in for the fun.

Shooting the newborn was a piece of cake--she didn't even want to open her eyes! It was like photographing a still object. The 2 year old boy, however, made up for baby's lack of movement and then some! It was such a fun time, and I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do!

Baby girl was so incredibly sweet. I loved her little fingers, and her precious Christmas dress.

As a family, they took some really nice photos!

Baby girl's tights had ruffles on the butt. She had me at hello.

The little boy was a character. It was challenging for him to get still, but when he was, his photos turned out beautiful!

His interaction with his baby sister was pretty funny. I think he's still not so sure about her.

I leave you with this photo. We all know that you don't have to be two years old to be defiant, but defiance sure looks a whole lot sweeter when you are young!
